Hosted by Holy Angels, this beloved community event brings together great food, live music, and good company for a meaningful cause.

Guests can sample bites from more than 40 local restaurants, enjoy performances by the Holy Angels Choir and talent show winners, bid on unique auction items, and toast the night at the champagne bubble bar.

Every ticket supports programs that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It’s a night you won’t want to miss!

BPCC’s Deanna Hardy Wins Top Teaching Award! 🌟

Bossier Parish Community College is celebrating one of its own, Deanna Hardy, this year’s winner of the LCTCS President’s Award for Teaching Excellence! 🎉 Known for her creativity in the classroom and her heart for students, Deanna always goes the extra mile to help others succeed. Her passion for teaching shines through everything she does, and BPCC couldn’t be prouder to see her recognized for the impact she makes every day. Fun Fact: she was my personal instructor at BPCC, so I definitely concur!

🏋️‍♂️ No Ceilings CrossFit Named Best Gym in Shreveport-Bossier! 🌟

Shreveport-Bossier’s recently voted top gym is bringing the fun to the next generation! Starting October 21, CrossFit Kids kicks off for ages 4-12 every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM. With only 12 spots available, kids will build strength, confidence, and teamwork in a safe, energetic environment. Shreveport Lands $10K Grant to Beautify Airport Entrance 🌿

Shreveport just scored a $10,000 Beautification Grant from Keep Louisiana Beautiful to help upgrade and maintain high-visibility public spaces. The first project: sprucing up the entrance to Shreveport Regional Airport with native plants to reduce pollution and boost curb appeal.

📄 Shreveport spoke, and the mayor listened. Plans for the water-bill surcharge have been withdrawn.

🏨 Good news for Louisiana healthcare! The state just announced a Medicaid rate increase that could make it easier for providers to keep helping those who need it most.

🥘 A local food spot favorite has new owners! They’re planning a full refresh with updates inside and out while keeping the name everyone loves.

👩🏾‍🍳Shreveport’s own Chef Niema DiGrazia is packing her bags for a big trip to New York City to show off a little Louisiana flavor.

⚾️ The undefeated LSUS baseball team will visit the White House on Oct. 20, invited by Speaker Mike Johnson to celebrate their historic 59-0 national championship season.
