TOGETHER WITH
☀️SBC! LSUS went 59-0 — because apparently losing just isn’t their thing. Between that, local chefs serving up wins, and coffee shops making spring taste like lavender, Shreveport-Bossier is on a roll.
In this week’s edition, we’ll shine light on:
Kickin’ and sparrin’ for the weekend
Shreveport decides to show out
Tell us what you want (Read that again like a Spice Girl 👡)
Let’s get our shine on! ☀️
Partnered with Shreveport Bossier Animal Rescue
Since 2015, Shreveport Bossier Animal Rescue (SBAR) has been a no-kill shelter dedicated to helping homeless cats in our community. From tiny kittens to senior cats, SBAR gives each one a safe place to heal, feel loved, and find a forever home.
The shelter also runs a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program to help control the stray cat population in a humane way. Alongside adoptions, SBAR focuses on educating the public about responsible pet care and the importance of spaying and neutering. Volunteer to help here.

If you are looking for that sweet addition, we’ve found him!
Meet Hootie. He is 1 year old and has been with SBAR for 9 months, and we honestly have no idea why he’s still looking for his forever home.
He is sweet, playful, loves other cats, and will casually ride around on your shoulders while you do chores (yes, like a parrot). Hootie loves getting attention, and seriously, who could even resist his face??
🐱 Make an appointment before he’s gone!
