“There’s something especially nostalgic about summer travel in America.
Maybe its fireworks reflected on the water, the smell of sunscreen and charcoal grills, or kids running barefoot after a long day outside. Maybe it’s the way a simple road trip, lake weekend, or beach escape somehow becomes the memory everyone talks about years later.
As we head toward the Fourth of July and America’s 250th anniversary, I keep thinking about how travel doesn’t always need to be far away to feel meaningful. Some of the most memorable trips happen close to home. A long weekend with family in the mountains. A charming coastal inn. A classic American resort where mornings start with coffee on the porch and evenings end under string lights and sparklers.
There’s beauty in slowing down and experiencing places that remind us how much there is to see right here in our own backyard.
Summer calendars fill quickly, but there’s still time to plan something intentional. Whether it’s a multigenerational getaway, a last-minute couple’s escape, or simply a few days to reconnect and reset, thoughtful travel has a way of bringing people together like little else can.
If summer travel has been on your mind, I’d love to help you plan something memorable. From iconic American resorts and coastal escapes to seamless family getaways and long weekend retreats, I’ll handle the details so you can simply enjoy the experience.”
