TOGETHER WITH
☀️SBC! Happy Easter Week! So, two cool things happened to last week:
We partnered up with Picture Day for All, and we’ve officially launched our own fundraising campaign to help raise funds to ensure ALL local kiddos get a school picture. Our Goal is $1000- help us get there!
We joined Tapestry by Design with Tiffany Brown to share the story behind OTBS owner, Felicia Sullivan-Riordan. Take a listen and subscribe while you’re there!
In this issue, we’ll shine light on:
Easing your traveling worries
April’s Bright Side Impact Event
50 Cent’s latest investment in SBC
Let’s get our shine on!

Travel Right Now (Yes, It’s Still Worth It)
You pull up to the airport, coffee in hand, knowing exactly what to expect.
A quick 15-minute drive. Easy parking. No need to arrive hours and hours early. The lines are moving, security is steady, and while you might roll your eyes at the breakfast options (because let’s be honest), there’s a certain ease to it all. Your regional airport has its advantages.
This is the part no one is really talking about right now. While headlines focus on delays and long lines, the reality is far more manageable, especially when you start your trip somewhere like Shreveport Regional Airport. And once you’re on your way, things tend to smooth out. International airports are running efficiently, flights are moving, and the experience feels far more seamless than expected.
Behind the scenes, my clients are still traveling, and they’re traveling well. Because the difference right now isn’t whether you go, it’s how it’s planned.
The right flights. The right timing. Enough intention behind the details that you’re not sprinting through terminals or starting your trip stressed out. Because no one is dreaming about TSA lines. They’re thinking about the first glass of wine, the view from the terrace, the moment they finally exhale.
And that part? Still very much happening. Take a peek at where my clients vacationing now!

☀️ This Week’s Happy Highlights
A Local Favorite is Reopening Soon!
Marilynn’s Place is back and better than ever! 🙌 We attended their soft opening this past weekend, and let’s just say… it was worth the wait. The flavors are just as bold (maybe even better), and the local favorite is ready to serve it up again. Don’t miss the Catfish Acadiana, fried green beans, and a Fuzzy Buffalo to top it off. 🍹 Stay tuned to their Facebook page for the official opening date!
