Honoring Courage, Celebrating Freedom

TOGETHER WITH

☀️SBC! Happy Memorial Day! Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. It’s a day of gratitude, reflection, and community.
As you enjoy time with family, friends, or a quiet moment, here’s your weekly dose of good news and local happenings to brighten your day.
Let’s celebrate the spirit of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave with respect to those who made it possible. ❤️🤍💙
In this week’s edition, we’ll shine light on:
The Hub’s Lovewell Center
How to Save a Life
Memorial Day Hometown Heroes
Let’s get our shine on! ☀️
Partnered with The Hub: urban ministry

The Hub: Urban Ministry is doing incredible work right here in Shreveport—meeting people where they are and helping them find healing, support, and a fresh start. Through programs like The Lovewell Center, they provide a safe, consistent space for people experiencing homelessness and poverty. They're also behind Purchased: Not for Sale, which walks alongside women and children coming out of trafficking and sexual exploitation.
They’re always looking for people to join the mission—whether through donations, serving/providing meals, or helping with outreach.
